A separate teen grid for the under 18′s has always been a bit of a dead end for LL, its proved to be unpopular and in the words of most teens ‘boring’. There are several reasons why and its not because the environment is limited to PG content. The recent sacking of the teen grid linden also suggests LL have twigged.

Teens are social creatures, few are capable of making content to the standards that the older residents are, factors like skill level, patience, experience all go against them – At 17 you cant be expected to go head to head with someone with years of creative experience and come out on top. The grid was doomed to mediocrity right off the bat and guess what, it is a very mediocre place. IMVU has so much more bang and why? Because there are grown ups to make all the toys the teens buy and use. Continue reading

If you write a personal blog you know how it gets, you start to edit what you write because you know certain people read it. Gradually you get to the point you hardly write at all, frustrated you start to think about starting over, new blog on a new site where you can scribble anything you like. Rinse Repeat. Fuck it.

Consider this fair warning. I will write stuff you don’t want to know, don’t want to read, and frankly find disturbing and maybe even hurtful. But that’s how it has to be, this is my blog, by me, for me , and fuck me I’m going to write what I damn well please on it. It’s like reading someone’s diary, there is no way you will like everything you find.

Been a while since I used this, last time it managed to loose almost everything I posted to it .. Anything now?

Seems I broke my blog playing with the metaverse-id plugin, it went funny and locked me out of the admin. So much to catch up on!
