As anticipated, the TRC have added a scary forest between TGL and themselves. Can’t help thinking it is an improvement, although why they couldn’t stretch to some nice sculpted trees is beyond me (like those sold at Botanical - mmmmm sexy). Of course, this is to hide the TG Lounge sign I put up over they hole in the wall they have graciously left open.
Ash and Jani are now camping the TRC 24/7 wth floating titles saying AFK to help bump the trafic numbers, not exacty the “mature volunteer lead support” visitors might be expecting. At least we have the decency to turn our computers off when we go to bed, save the planet and all that.
Oh, and if TRC admin members would kindly stop messaging my friends to talk about me. I am here, I’m online, and perfectly capable of talking for myself.
In some fantastic news for the TGL, yesterday we passed the 50 group members milestone. Its a very very quiet group at the moment and will be used to annouce future events. If you want to join search for the group “Transgender Lounge”.
Trin, I’ve (as a TRC Volunteer and Member) already said to you that Second Life is big enough for more than one Transgender Support Grouping (preferably of course I wish there were just one but that’s life). I still do wish TGL the best of luck in its endeavours. But these persistent attempts at slights towards our TRC do the Transgender Community no favours whatsoever. To be frank about it, the more you carry on with posts like this the more you will lead people who view them to question the merits of what you wish to portray. It’s time for you and TGL to move on and do what you wish to do and at the same time, it’s time to let the TRC alone to further its cause and mission, which it will pursue. This constant posting of what the TRC does, did, might do is detrimental to Transgenderism. Just go do what you wish to do, stop once and for all making the delimiting of the TRC your primary goal and just let the TRC Organisation follow its future and TGL follow its own. Do you see any TRC Volunteers or Members putting up Blogs putting down the TGL like this?

I had hoped to work in cooperation with the TRC and never wanted to get drawn into petty bullshit, but damn, you lot just don’t give up. You play the victim in public and seem to delight in snide comments in IM! Let me spell it out. When you (TRC Admin) IM my friends about me and try to feed them a load of bullshit, they copy the conversations and send me notecards.
Hiding the TRC at the far end of the other plot behind a load of trees is just a smack in the face for everyone who still wishes to visit both organisations.
Not a single day has passed, NOT ONE, since I started the TGL that someone from the TRC Admin hasn’t stirred the pot.
I’m sorry Ja (and every other TRC Admin member aside from Ash!), but you don’t know the organisation you so proudly defend. Maybe if you actually started going to the TRC and fulfiling your role as volunteer you might change your mind. I did, I was at the TRC talking and helping people every single day for months on end. When I left, they came wih me.
The TRC does NOT represent transgenderism in SL or anywhere else and the constant hiding your actions behind the “greater good” is really pissing a lot of people off.

Blech, can we get all sides to just be quiet about it? I’ll be honest, I’m starting to get more and more towards leaving both groups with every posting I hear about the war with. Yes, it’s ugly, and hurtful, and everything else what’s going on, but I know I’m not getting the whole picture from anybody, and I’m really starting to get to the point that I’d rather just leave than watch the upcoming train wreck.
Trin, I know you’re bitter about things, but please, let it rest.
