Seems the TRC have finally done what we guessed they would do right at the start, move the TRC building as far away from the TG Lounge as possible. All thats left now is for the hole in the wall to close and a lot of tree’s to appear and we’re about sorted! You can’t help wondering if we smell…
Following from an extremly rude IM message from Jani who essentially accuses the TG lounge of undermining the reputation of the TRC and all he other evils in the world I just have to respond here. Sorry, but you’re managing that all by yourself. There is a reason the traffic rating for the TRC is 1979 and the TG Lounge is at 5260, leave you to ponder what it might be. Stop complaining about the TG Lounge, either raise your game and compete or shut up and go away.
In TG Lounge news, the membership is growing strong and we’re looking forward to starting regular events. The more serious side of TG support is in progress and we hope to have plenty of actual rescources (RL and SL) to offer in the very near future. We are very very pleased to have been approved a safe place for Child AV’s!
Finally, in a moments childish behavour from one of our child memebers (what would you expect!) Lilly Noodle has been banned from the TRC for throwing toilet paper on their lawn. Simply Awesome.
Oh come on now Trin. You can’t have it both ways with the child AV thing. People have an excuse to behave in a way that harasses group members, because they have a child AV. At other times you’re arguing that there are adults behind the child AVs, so it’s OK to discuss adult topics with child AVs around.
Members of the TG Lounge have been shouting across to next door, and I have been taunted, undeservedly myself. I am a peacemaker, and I do nobody any blooming harm. You yourself lowered the land on your side in a way that would lower it on the TRC side of the border, and put a toilet there, with a huge glowing piss prim filling the hole - leaking from the loo. You even did that with the prim placed just so the centre was on your side of the border, and could not be returned.
We moved the centre to correct the landing point and to move it away from negative and bitter harassment. The TRC is a place for support, and we will protect our members from this cheapstreet behaviour.
You’re a friend Trin, see some blooming sense and stop playing the victim card. You don’t police your own members when they harass us and then make like the TRC is the enemy. Nuff said
I truly think you owe the entire TG community in Second Life an apology. Because by democratic process you were denied your way you left the TRC and started a harassment and misinformation campaign from next door that continues to this day. As someone who used to consider you a friend I have to say that I am both shocked and saddened. Despite your childish and destructive behavior we will simply continue to do what we’ve always done…try to provide a serious and mature forum for mutual peer support for Second Life’s transgender population. -Jani
Thought I should point out (as the photo shows clearly) that not only was the TRC building moved away from the Lounge, but it was turned around so that the entrance faces the Lounge, which actually makes it easier to move from one to the other, and while the trees have arrived, the hole in the wall has not moved. However the move caught me out, an alt had set home to the roof above the TRC balcony so that I could see if there was a crowd in the Lounge at the same time as checking what friends were in the TRC via radar. The first I knew the building had moved was when poor Shirley fell 40m to the ground!
