My boss at work (also my ex-father in law) likes the office just a little bit cold. He runs around like a headless chicken all day, comes in the office for 30 seconds and declares that its like an oven, then opens all the windows. He then leaves the room and we’re all left shivering in a icy draft.

The office has radiators, but they are NEVER turned on. Frostbite has only been prevented by small electric fan heaters under our desks (given out free when the radiators broke last winter, and we refused to them give back!) this of course infuriates the boss who believes the room is far to hot before we even start.

Today, he gave myself and a co worker a pair of his old grey socks. That should keep you warm, stop moaning!

Excuse me!! The office is that cold we all end up keeping our coats on somedays, there is a constant draft from the old windows that just don’t seal when closed, and if we do ever moan about it - he just assumes were lazy and should do some work!
